The change of name from Lock Antriebstechnik GmbH to Lock GmbH in 2023 will further emphasise Lock's broader range of services and technological diversity. With its newly founded business units Lock Drives, Lock ProSystems and Lock SmartSolutions, Lock GmbH now offers a wide range of drive, positioning and automation solutions.
Lock Drives represents the original business unit of Lock Antriebstechnik GmbH, which was founded 180 years ago by Raphael Lock and has been managed by Frank Lock since 2002. The robust, self-locking, high-quality manual and electric drives from Lock are the first choice in garden and stable construction applications worldwide.
Lock is increasingly conquering industrial sectors with its product portfolio - particularly with solutions for lifting and adjusting tasks. The Lock ProSystems business unit develops industrial work platforms for rail / air and large vehicles and for industry & drive solutions for facade technology.
Lock SmartSolutions stands for digital solutions in stables and greenhouses. Using a smartphone or tablet, the digital SBE control system can be used to control various elements such as irrigation or ventilation from any location & make work processes easier.
